Easter is always a great day of celebration, but what about the days that come after Easter? What difference does the resurrection make? Why does the resurrection matter when I'm in the middle of the day-to-day struggle? During this Easter season series we answer questions like these as we celebrate what Jesus' resurrection means today and for eternity.

Know Thyself - If you and I just met for the very first time, what would you tell me about who you are to help me to get to really know you? This weekend not only did we celebrate God's gift of mothers, but we concluded our Resurrection Question series with a lesson from Romans 1:1b-5a as we answer this question: "And You Are"?
This trial serves a purpose. This weekend we studied 1 Peter 1:3-7 where we gained some special motivation and insight for what God is up to right now in our lives as we answered the question, "What's the Goal?"
The Struggle Is Real. Some days, some moments are great. But others, not so much. We all face a variety of struggles. This weekend looked to Philippians 3:7-11 to answer the question, if Jesus is raised, if Easter really did change everything, "Why the Struggle"?
Do the math. What is one plus one? Easy, right? This weekend the apostle Paul gives us a simple math lesson regarding the resurrection. It is a simple equation but the answer means everything. Our next Resurrection Question is based on 1 Corinthians 15:12-19 as God has Paul provide the answer to the question "My Life Changed When"?
I am _______________. How we fill in that blank is important. That blank represents where we find our identity, worth and significance. This weekend we studied Romans 6:1-4 where we saw that Jesus not only changed everything for us, He changed us and gives us a new answer to the question, "Is that who you are?"
Proof... Many of us have lived our whole lives believing Jesus rose from the dead on Easter morning, and it is good that we do. But what if you just heard about the resurrection for the first time in your life? What if you had doubts? We look at the evidence of Jesus' resurrection by asking the question "Are You Guilty of Believing in the Resurrection?" Our lesson comes from Acts 24:17-21 as we continue on Easter series "Resurrection Questions!"
Spring. Family. Food. Easter morning is often one of those mountain top life moments. As we celebrated Easter, we looked to Matthew 27:51-53 where we embrace that Jesus doesn't just give us hope in the mountain top moments, but even when we find ourselves asking "Isn't this the sad part of the story?" Happy Easter from Abiding Shepherd.
