Adult Ed

Have you ever tried to respond to skeptics when they ask questions like…
…Why does God allow suffering in the world?
…How could a loving God send people to hell?
…Why isn’t Christianity more inclusive?
…How can one religion be “right” and all the others
    be “wrong”?
How about your own doubts? Ever try to talk to your family, friends and neighbors about your Christian faith, only to meet with resistance or outright hostility?
Adults (high school and older) will view and discuss Timothy Keller’s “The Reason for God”.
In this six-part dvd series Pastor Keller has compiled a list of the most frequently voiced “doubts” skeptics bring to his church as well as the most important reasons for faith.Keller uses literature, philosophy, real-life conversations, and reasoning to explain how faith in a Christian God is a soundly rational belief, held by thoughtful people of intellectual integrity with a deep compassion for those who truly want to know the truth.

Groups meet at 6:30pm on Wednesday evenings (supper at 6pm) and 9am on Thursday mornings (with light breakfast snacks).

Note: The Adult Education classes begin again in September, 2019. The information above gives you an overview of the type of discussions held this year.
